The NXG-PI-QAM-S inputs MPEG-compliant transport streams through the NXG IP backplane to add Pro:Idiom encryption to a multiple program transport stream (MPTS) format. The Pro:Idiom encrypted video content is routed via the NXG IP backplane to the desired QAM outputs for distribution. The NXG-PI-QAM is designed for compatibility with only the NXG QAM Modulator module.
