DALLAS, TX, August 28, 2009— AVTEQ, Inc., leading manufacturer of video conferencing carts and mounts, has recently added a formal credenza to their conferencing furniture lineup. Unlike the mobile steel carts in AVTEQ’s core product line, this credenza replicates one’s traditional conference room décor.
The credenza can accommodate the largest displays of all AVTEQ’s products. The credenza can support dual plasma or LCD screens up to 70” each or a single display up to 103”. This integrated universal screen mount system is an appealing standard feature of the credenza as it eliminates the need to mount and align large flat screens to a conference room wall, often preventing the timely and costly reconfiguration of conference room setups.
Other standard features of AVTEQ’s credenza include a sliding, rotating 12RU rack from Middle Atlantic® as well as an integrated adjustable video conferencing camera platform.
“Our goal was to design this piece to be fully customizable inside and out, so that the customer can make it exactly what they want it to be,” said Kelly O’Donnell, AVTEQ’s President. Each of the cabinets can be equipped to suit the user, with multiple rack systems, refrigerator, shelving or other accessories. The exterior is available in various colors of oak veneer, or can be color matched to existing conference room furniture. Customers also have the option to order only the credenza’s steel frame and accompanying CAD drawings in order to have a local millworker cut and custom match the wood to existing conference room woodwork.
